2.1 Information You Provide

  • Account information: name, email address, username, date of birth, profile photo
  • Payment information: billing details processed by our payment processors; identity-verification details (such as government-issued ID) collected from creators for payout eligibility
  • Communications: messages, support requests, and feedback
  • Content: videos, comments, and content you post or stream

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Device information: device type, operating system, unique device identifiers
  • Usage data: pages viewed, features used, content watched, interaction patterns, collected in part through cookies, SDKs, and similar technologies
  • Location: approximate location derived from IP address
  • Log data: IP addresses, access times, browser type, referring URLs

2.3 Information from Third Parties

If you connect third-party accounts (e.g., Sign in with Apple or Google), we receive certain profile information as permitted by your settings with those services.

  • Personalise your content feed and discovery experience
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions and virtual currency
  • Send service notifications, security alerts, and support messages

  • Power our recommendation algorithm to surface relevant content

4. Algorithm & Personalisation

LaMoon uses an algorithmic recommendation system that analyses viewing history, engagement patterns, gifting and purchase activity, and interests to personalise your feed. You may opt out in Settings > Privacy. Opting out does not affect app access but may result in less relevant content suggestions.

5. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:

  • Service providers assisting LaMoon's operations (subject to confidentiality obligations)
  • Other users, to the extent you make information publicly available
  • Law enforcement when required by applicable law
  • Successor entities in the event of a merger or acquisition

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Request deletion through Settings > Account > Delete Account. Certain data may be retained for legal compliance.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, and to opt out of certain processing. Contact privacy@lamoon.network to exercise these rights. California residents may exercise these rights without discrimination, including opting out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, and we honour Global Privacy Control browser signals.

8. Children's Privacy

LaMoon does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn a child under 13 has provided data, we will delete it from our systems.

9. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No internet transmission is 100% secure.
